Mom (Mabel Ow) and myself (Edwina) have visited with Aunt Edna and Uncle Herb when they lived in Rancho Murieta, CA. My mom met Edna in Locke,Ca. while working to help separate fruits. Since housing was all men, she was placed in the residence where Edna lived and that's how they met and became friends. The visits to Rancho Murieta, Aunt Edna always made her bean salad along with her dinner menu. I do not regularly eat bean salad, but I have to admit that her's was delicious and I was lucky enough to have gotten her recipe. There are many fond memories of her through the years. Hearing about all the exotic places they had travelled before settling down in Texas and back in California. My mom and I will miss her very much. Edwina Ow
